Hi Jamie Lynn:  No, sorry I am not aware of a young person having a hip replacement.  You must be like me, doing much research to find reasons and solutions.  Many illnesses share symptoms.  You cannot diagnose yourself - well I guess you could if you were a Doctor.  I am sure your Surgeon will be able to help answer some questions and any other caregivers could too.  I am much older than you, 60, and have OA in my neck and FM.  There are many people posting on the boards, all with various levels of knowledge so I am sure some others might offer suggestions.  Take care.  Bijoux
